Mediation, whether court-ordered or voluntary, involves the use of an impartial neutral, the mediator, to
attempt to find a solution that the parties agree is in their best interests.

Alternatively,
arbitration is a process in which the parties present their case to the arbitrator or a panel of
arbitrators, and in which, after deliberation, the arbitrator(s) issue a binding decision.

We invite you to explore this website to learn more about mediation and arbitration and how we can
assist you in resolving your business disputes.

Serving your business mediation and arbitration needs
                                      in English and Spanish

Cashion Mediation & Arbitration, LLC was founded to provide
mediator and arbitrator services in English and Spanish to persons
and organizations seeking to resolve their business disputes without
going to court.  Its Principal, Marvin J. Cashion, who practiced
commercial and related law for over 35 years, is fluent in both
languages.

Litigation in court, conducted by lawyers in front of a judge and jury,
has been the traditional method of resolving disputes between
parties.  But court dockets have become crowded and the expense,
inconvenience, uncertainty and emotional toll associated with litigation
have all grown tremendously.

In response, we have seen the growth of legally acceptable alternative
approaches.  These include mediation and arbitration, which are the
two most popular methods of alternative dispute resolution.
